meet Karen & Adrian
So glad you want to know a little bit about us.
We are a husband and wife team who pride ourselves in an individual caring approach. Bodyfaze is a personal training consultancy established in 1996 by Karen & Adrian Browne. We have each had more than 30 years in sport and experience in the fitness industry, we have a devoted core of clientele, some of whom have been with them for more than 14 years. Others are working towards specific events and goals.
“we find nothing more rewarding than having a client come to us and saying that they have finally been able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath, that they have had their best skiing or cycling holiday ever or that they have cracked a personal best in a race or won a sporting competition. For us, making people healthier makes them happier and leads to a better quality of life ….. our reward”.
We see physical training as a means to a lifetime of activity, healthy living and as a means to further the enjoyment and performance in sport.

HI I’M ADRIAN
Certified Fitness Trainer
Qualified in 1996 as a Fitness Instructor with the YMCA and is currently working as a One to One Coach with an established and diverse client base.
Has completed several physical challenges, usually running or cycling, for charities such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Action Medical Research, Geoff Thomas Leukaemia Foundation, Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals Trust and will continue to support charities in the future as long as he is physically able!
Believes that Fitness and Martial Arts gives the ability to enrich life mentally, physically and spiritually and that it teaches a degree of humility and respect not often found in many sports.
Places a great importance on giving support to all his clients and students in their life goals whether they be academic, physical or work related and emphasises balance in life without losing passion.
Thinks that a majority of people, can benefit from the training if effort is put in and would like to be given the opportunity to pass on the knowledge he has gained over the last 44 years.
HI I’M Karen
Certified Fitness Trainer
Qualified in 2000 as a Fitness Instructor with the YMCA and is currently working as a One to One Coach with an established and diverse client base.
Has been training in martial arts since 1983 and have been assisting in teaching both for adults and children during this period. Assists Adrian in the running of the Martial Arts School Shaolin Quanshu.
Has qualifies with the Ricky Hatton Boxing certificate.
Has and is continuing her women health education with Burrell Education.
Has also completed several physical challenges, usually running or cycling, for charities such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and will continue to support charities in the future as long as he is physically able!
Believes that movement is fundamental to living a joyful and full life leading to longevity. Building overall wellness gives the ability to enrich life mentally, physically and spiritually and that it teaches a degree of humility and respect not often found in many sports and life activities.
Is passionate about helping people to reach their full potential and guiding them by giving support to all her clients in their life goals whether they be academic, physical or work related and emphasises balance in life without losing passion.

Menopause Consultations, workshops, talks, meetings
Karen has spent the last 8 years educating herself on all things womens health with a an accredited company particularly ( and is continually updating her knowledge) with the menopausal transition and specialises in the importance of exercise in Menopause and how our needs change and that not all exercise is right for us. You can book a workshop, consultation, talk or join her monthly online lunch meeting.
